Evlyn Andrade is a passionate advocate for racial equity and justice. Her career spans executive leadership, philanthropy, finance, fundraising, community organizing, and advocacy, with experience across the academic, government, and nonprofit sectors. A UC Berkeley graduate, she has held various leadership roles throughout her career. Evlyn currently serves on the board of The Russell Family Foundation and is an advisory board member for the Rose Foundation. Most recently, as Executive Director EarthCorps, she led the organization in a new direction focused on racial equity and environmental justice. Prior to that, she served a Policy Advisor on Land Use, Environment, and Environmental Justice in San Diego County. Evlyn’s experience also includes roles as Development Director at Climate Action Campaign and leadership positions at the UC Berkeley School of Public Health, where she managed the Center for Public Health Practice and the Office of Diversity. Outside of her professional career, Evlyn has been dedicated to supporting marginalized communities. She volunteered with the Teach in Prison Program and served as a Court-Appointed Special Advocate for youth navigating the foster care and juvenile justice systems. Her advocacy extends to the political arena, having worked on various local, regional, and national campaigns, supporting candidates and policies that advance equity and justice.
