A Fundamental Right to Heal

For the past 20 years, UnCommon Law has supported incarcerated people to heal and returning home through parole. Hundreds of families have been reunited as we fight for a system rooted in transformation. As we look ahead, we’re advancing a bold vision through our 20th anniversary campaign: a fundamental right to heal. Because real safety and transformation don’t come from punishment, they comes from accountability, growth, and the opportunity to change.

We know that healed people heal people. And when people return home ready to lead and give back, entire communities grow stronger. Join us as we celebrate 20 years and build what comes next.
