Our clients use their skills to extend the reach of our curriculum, as well as maximize personal impact on their communities. Many of our clients help others inside through modeling and mentoring, and facilitate groups in prison to help with conflict resolution, improving communication skills, and other key areas.

Furthermore, many of our former clients hold leadership positions in policy change organizations, work directly with service nonprofits, or have established their own nonprofits to drive everything from restorative justice implementation in disadvantaged communities to community-based prevention programs. With their modeling, mediation skills and life experiences, our clients have a critical healing and restorative impact on communities and families fractured by mass incarceration when they return home. Overall, less than 1% of UnCommon Law’s clients have returned to prison.
