Becca Berry (she/her), Supervising Attorney for In-Prison Programs is a Southern California native and a double alumnus of the University of Southern California. She was the inaugural student in the highly selective 3+3 Accelerated Bachelors & JD program, earning her J.D. and B.A. in Sociology and Forensics and Criminality in just six years. With a passion for helping survivors of complex trauma, Becca has dedicated her career in the nonprofit sphere to validate, support, and represent them. As a survivor herself, she employs her legal expertise, art, and storytelling to support others on their healing journeys.

Becca managed national legal direct service helplines at Equal Rights Advocates and Root and Rebound, representing survivors of sexual and gender-based violence in Title IX proceedings and formerly incarcerated individuals seeking record expungement. At the Black Women's Health Imperative, she was an If/When/How Lawyering for Reproductive Justice Fellow, working on policies concerning Black women's health and authoring articles on reproductive justice and mental health. She also played a significant role in drafting the organization's first Black Women's Health Policy Agenda. Becca further contributed to the DecrimNow campaign in Washington, D.C., advocating for the full decriminalization of sex work.

Outside of her professional commitments, Becca enjoys singing, creating collages, exploring culinary delights, and indulging in horror movies and documentaries. She finds solace in reading, being near water, and nurturing her spiritual gifts through ancestor work and divination.
