Alia Ruiz-Hartman (she/her), Development & Communications Associate, comes to criminal justice reform work through her own lived experience as the child of a formerly incarcerated parent. She brings that experience into her professional life. Prior to UnCommon Law, Alia worked as the Development Associate at Prison Radio, a San Francisco-based radio and activist project. Alia is a writer and a passionate advocate for the marginalized.
