2023 Lifer School

Saturday, December 2nd | 9:00 am PST | Oakland, CA

Join UnCommon Law staff and other community members for our annual “Lifer School!”

Lifer School is an all-day educational symposium for advocates and community members who are supporting people navigating the parole process in California. Attendees will hear from experts - people with lived and learned expertise in the parole process - on the ins and outs of California’s parole system, and get practical advice on how to best prepare for a hearing.

Lifer School will run all day, from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Lunch is provided!

Please note that while we will offer a virtual option for Lifer School this year (in addition to our in-person session), the scope of our virtual programming will be limited, particularly in which workshops virtual participants can attend.
